Empowered Retreat

GROWING DEEPER TOGETHER
Is Pentecost only a historical event, or is Pentecost an encounter with God for every generation to live out? We believe we must intentionally perpetuate Pentecost, and we've designed an entierely new winter retreat for this purpose: spiritual saturation and practical teaching to empower students by the Holy Spirit for a more effective witness. This weekend is for the leader and student looking to deepen their walk with Christ, discover spiritual gifts, and sharpen their witness for personal evangelism, campus ministry, and world missions. What could happen in a setting like this with a generation asking God for more? Join us for Empowered, Februrary 15-18, 2019.

GO: Navajo Nations

We have a unique privilege of ministering right here in Northern Arizona in the Navajo Nation, partnering with our Native American churches and pastors. I will be leading an AIM trip of students and leaders all across Arizona with National Native Youth Director, Rev. Jackie Holgate in Flagstaff, AZ. We will be serving the vision of our Native Pastors and their communities on the Navajo Nation. This is a great opportunity for both rookie and veteran AIM students to deploy for ministry in an affordable/domestic missions experience.

GO: Panama

We are going back for a third consecutive year July 14 - 21, 2019 to serve AG World Missionaries, Gerritt & Tara Kenyon. We have been invited back to Panama City to serve the ministry of El Refuge, reaching the emerging youth culture by sharing the gospel in public high schools through ethics and character presentations as well as hosting for a nation-wide youth conference to several thousand teenagers across Panama. There is a thirst among the youth for fulfillment in their lives that cannot be met by the booming commerce so rapidly changing the face of the economy of this small nation.

Matthew 6:1-4

Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven. “So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

Youth Leader Summit

Youth Leader Summit

The best years of youth ministry are not behind us (although we all looked pretty rad in our "glory days"). The best is yet to come! But are you prepared to lead Gen Z to follow Jesus in a post-everything world?

Our focus this year will be to intentionally help you understand Gen Z and how we can most effectively work together to reach this generation. We’re bringing in Terry Parkman as our special guest speaker from River Valley Church in Minneapolis, MN. With over 16 years of experience in working with the Next Generation, nothing drives him more than helping this generation discover their purpose, developing them as leaders, and empowering them to step out into the plan of God for their lives.

The Arizona Youth Leaders' Summit is designed for the youth pastor and youth leader in training for inspiration, practical coaching, and encouragement from youth ministry experts as you connect with youth leaders around the state. Join us and bring your team on January 10-11 for a balanced mix of fun, collaboration, and an encounter with God tailored just for Youth Ministry Leaders.

Bring your team, and get ready for a good mix of fun, games, and an encounter with God tailored just for you!

Price: $30 per person ($40 after January 3rd)
Includes registration and Friday night youth leader celebration banquet.

Childcare available for children ages 0-5 during all main sessions and “threads” ($30 per child). Must register before January 3rd to ensure we are properly staffed.
