 An Oasis Group is a gathering of friends that meet weekly, biweekly, or monthly around a common or shared purpose. It provides a more intimate setting for people to connect while experiencing God’s love through friendship, outreach, and study of the Word of God.
Relationships and connection within the local church are vital to the life of every believer and scriptural (John 17:20-23, Acts 2:42-47, I Corinthians 12:12-27, Hebrews 10:24-25). They will help you grow spiritually, be a source of encouragement, give you support relationally, through prayer and connect you to a spiritual family. Oasis Groups meet in various locations: homes around town, at church, at a local coffee shop or sports park. It varies with the variety of groups. All that is needed is for you to pick up an Oasis Magazine at the Welcome Center or in the Guest Reception Room for a complete list of Oasis Groups and information.
