 Helping people join in a community of believers who celebrate their relationship with Jesus Christ as they grow in Christ-like character, equipping them to make a commitment to minister within the church, and to communicate the love of Christ to a lost world.
Community: Moving people to a place where they have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, an understanding of the purpose statement of this church, and then respond by joining a community of believers as an active member. (Ephesians 4:14-16) Character: Helping believers grow in their faith so their lives will display Chirst-like character. Connecting them through small groups which will produce disciple-making disciples. (Colossians 1:10) Commitment: Equipping every member to be a minister and helping them to make a commitment to ministry within this church based upon their gifts, talents, and passions. (Ephesians 4:12) Communicate: Sending believers to communicate this love of Christ within their community, and around the world. (Matthew 28:19-20) Celebrate: Developing a climate of freedom in praise and worship as people celebrate their relationship with Christ at every stage of development. (Psalm 146:1-2) |
